What is the benefit of soy wax?

Soy wax is non-toxic and burns cleaner than other wax, with no petrol-carbon soot and does not release the carcinogenic toxins that paraffin candles emit. Soy wax burns slower and cooler than paraffin wax, creating a longer burning candle. It is also naturally biodegradable and a renewable resource and easily cleaned up with just soap and water which is what we love about it.

My candle keeps going out, what can I do?

If for some reason your candle does not seem to be performing as well as it should, there are a couple of tips we have. Firstly, extinguish the flame, wait a minute of 2, then squeeze the tip of the wick together enabling the 2 pieces of wood to join again. This trick works almost every time for us. Another tip is to make sure your wick was trimmed before relighting; if you don't trim the wick or snap the wick your candle will not burn to its best ability. If you have tried the above, please get in touch and we will be happy to solve the problem.

What can I do if I didn't burn my candle long enough and there is unmelted wax left on the sides?

If your candle didn't get a chance to melt to the edge of your container, all you need to do is gently swirl the container round and round. The melted wax will generate enough heat to gently melt the remaining wax that was left on your glass container.

How long should I burn my candle for?

If you are burning our 220g candle you can burn for up to 4 hours at any time however if you are burning our 60g mini candle you should only burn for up to 2 hours each time.

Who makes your candles?

We do! We hand pour each candle individually and take real pride in doing so.
